Bike Fit, Run Analysis and Sports Retraining

Bike Fit, Run Analysis, Sports Retraining

Our physical therapy clinic offers specialized run assessments, bike fitting, and sports retraining services designed to improve movement efficiency, enhance athletic performance, and reduce the risk of injury. Each service is performed by licensed physical therapists with advanced training in sports biomechanics and rehabilitation.

Run Assessment & Gait Analysis

A running assessment provides a detailed evaluation of how your body moves while running. Through a combination of clinical examination and movement analysis, your physical therapist identifies biomechanical patterns that may contribute to pain, inefficiency, or recurring injuries.

Your assessment includes a review of strength, flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and running form. Video-based gait analysis and treadmill observation allow your therapist to assess cadence, stride mechanics, and load management. After the evaluation, you will receive a personalized plan to address movement deficits, improve running form, and support safe progression—whether you are training for competition or returning to running after injury.

Bike Fit

A professional bike fit performed by a physical therapist helps optimize positioning on the bike while protecting joints and soft tissue from excessive strain. Improper bike setup is a common contributor to knee, hip, back, neck, and shoulder pain in cyclists.

Your bike fit focuses on alignment, movement efficiency, muscle balance, and flexibility to ensure your position supports comfort, power, and endurance. By integrating clinical expertise with cycling biomechanics, we help riders improve performance while minimizing the risk of overuse injuries.

Sports Retraining

Sports retraining is designed to help athletes transition from rehabilitation back to full participation or prepare safely for upcoming competition. Treatment emphasizes sport-specific movement patterns, progressive loading, and functional training that reflects the physical demands of your sport.

Programs incorporate changes in speed, direction, balance, and resistance to replicate real-world conditions on the field, court, road, or studio. We work with athletes across a wide range of sports and experience levels, including runners, cyclists, dancers, and court and field athletes.

A Smarter Approach to Performance and Injury Prevention

Through individualized assessment and targeted retraining, our run assessment, bike fit, and sports rehabilitation services help athletes move with confidence, perform at a higher level, and stay active long term.
