We are a group of academically-trained physical therapists specializing in orthopedic sports medicine and comprehensive care that fits into patient’s busy schedules. We provide the highest quality, individualized physical therapy Marin has to offer. We do not use aides or assistants. Our experienced therapists provide high-quality, one-in-one care. All of our therapists have over ten years experience and actively pursue continued education with advanced coursework academic studies.
We’re conveniently located in Mill Valley on Miller Avenue, five minutes from the freeway and downtown Mill Valley. We have a parking lot behind the building as well as ample street parking. Cindy Lewton Dehan, MSPT Owner
Cindy Lewton Dehan has a lifetime love of exercise, movement and sports. Cindy grew up competing in gymnastics and skiing, and she later became an All American diver. Her experience in sports led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. Cindy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado and received her Master of Science and Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco in 1997. She has spent the last decade working in sports medicine and orthopedics. Cindy works with various Bay area dance schools helping to promote health and wellness. Cindy has a passion for continued learning and has many years of advanced level orthopedic, manual and osteopathic coursework. She is trained in Active Release Technique. Cindy’s goal is to help people realize their greatest potential and to facilitate healing in a positive, motivating environment.
Justin Newcomer, DPT Physical Therapist
Justin grew up in San Rafael, California. He earned hisBachelors of Science in Human Physiology from University of Oregon (Eugene, OR) and his Doctorate in PhysicalTherapy from the University of St. Augustine (San Diego,CA). His passion for sports medicine and curiosity fororthopedics arose from playing a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, water polo, lacrosse, mixed martial arts and Olympic weightlifting. Having had a variety of sport related injuries throughout his sporting endeavors he understands the process of healing from both the patient and clinician side. Justin enjoys helping people of all ages and physical ability to meet their functional goals. In his free time he enjoys hiking, weightlifting, cooking, and spending time outside!
Jenni Someillan, DPT Physical Therapist
Jenni has dedicated 15 years to helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through physical therapy. Passionate about learning, she has participated in highly regarded mentoring programs associated with UCSF. Jenni completed a 1-year manual residency program and is currently working towards her post graduate doctorate. With master level foot and ankle rehabilitation training, she considers herself a “movement analyst,” and is exceptionally skilled at recognizing movement dysfunctions through gait evaluation. Jenni designs personalized treatment plans to help restore balance in the body and has helped many people return to pain free, active lifestyles. Jenni is also a certified Yoga instructor and graduated from the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico in 2010.
Allan Bravo, MPT, DPT Physical Therapist
Alan has a broad background in orthopedic sports medicine, neurologic and pediatric rehabilitation and wellness. Alan earned his Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from Estacio University in Brazil 2005 and his Post Professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University 2020. He has worked with high level athletes from soccer to mixed martial arts. Alan has a background in Eastern medicine with certification in Shaitsu and Tuinia and brings a holistic approach to treat his patients. Alan is also the founder of the TheraHand Board, created for specialized therapy of the hand. Alan is passionate about movement analysis for prevention, rehab, and performance improvement. Alan enjoys Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Crossfit and Team Handball.
Hanna Olson, DPT Physical Therapist
Hanna Olson is from Southern California and graduated with a degree in physiology from UCLA. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UCSF, which prepared her to treat patients of all ages and lifestyles. She has led balance training classes at UCSF PhysFit Center, and is experienced in helping elderly patients improve their strength and balance. She has a special interest in working with novice runners and performing running analysis for injury prevention. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, baking, and listening to podcasts.
Charlene Price Office Manager
Charlene comes to us with 30 years of medical office experience, with the last 15 years being in Physical Therapy. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest, where she was married and raised her family. Now with her kids raised and out on their own, she returns to Marin to finish her Psychology degree at Dominican University. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys being outdoors, music and movies. She loves to laugh, so often has a funny story to share. Her goal is to be that welcoming friendly face at the front desk ensuring that our office operates effectively to provide our patients the highest quality of care.
Rhiannon Star Physical Therapy Aide
Rhiannon earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Ethnic Studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2018. Her interest in mental health led her to become a lab manager for a health psychology research lab during her senior year of college. After graduating college, her interests shifted towards physical health, prompting her to complete a yoga and fitness teacher training at Marin Power Yoga and start volunteering at MarinHealth Medical Center. Her love for helping others and passion for health drives her to complete further education in nursing or physical therapy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and reading.
