Active Marin Physical Therapy is a dynamic practice specializing in sports medicine, wellness, and comprehensive care. We are a small practice with a strong community presence seeking a part-time (20 hrs/wk) aide/office assistant. A great opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in a physical therapy orthopedic setting.

We are located in beautiful Mill Valley, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, surrounded by trails for biking, hiking, and running. Our 3,000 square-foot facility features an open exercise space and 6 private treatment areas.

Many of our Physical Therapy Aides are preparing for careers in physical therapy, medicine, nursing, physician assistant studies, athletic training, or other healthcare professions. This role provides hands-on clinical experience and exposure to orthopedic and sports medicine in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient care including modalities and therapeutic exercise
• Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment
• Perform clerical tasks: greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, collecting payments
• Handle paperwork such as insurance forms

Your Qualifications

• 1 year of PT tech experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with athletics, health, or wellness
• Previous administrative and healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• One-year commitment required
• Interest in healthcare careers such as Physical Therapy, medicine, or personal training
