Staff Physical Therapist
- Full-time $110,000–$150,000 + $5,000 Signing Bonus
- Part-time or Per Diem $70-$80 per hour
One-on-one 45-minute care, no double booking, paid documentation time, 8–10 patients per day.

Active Marin is an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine practice. We are a fun-loving group of academically trained physical therapists who value top-quality, holistic care. We offer longer one-on-one treatments for more comprehensive care in a relaxed setting to help our patients reach their lifetime wellness goals. We are located in beautiful Mill Valley, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, surrounded by amazing trails, for biking, hiking, and running and just over the hill from Stinson Beach. We have been a positive contributor to the Mill Valley community for over 17 years! Our 3,000-square-foot clinic includes six private treatment rooms and a spacious, well-equipped 1,000-square-foot gym We have an incredibly active patient population. Mt. Tam, Muir Woods, and Stinson Beach are just minutes away. We are on the same street as popular Mill Valley spots like Equator Coffee, The Lumberyard, Sol Food and Hook Fish.
What You Can Expect

- State-of-the-art 3,000-square-foot outpatient orthopedic facility with six private treatment rooms and a spacious 1,000-square-foot, well-equipped exercise gym
- Autonomy to work closely with each patient and exercise your treatment style
- Specialization opportunities in women’s/pelvic health, pediatric therapy, TMD, vestibular rehab, advanced manual specialization, sport-specific therapy, adolescent sports rehab, Pilates-based rehabilitation, and injury prevention
- Ongoing mentorship and supportive, growth-committed team environment
- For newer clinicians: a designated mentor, weekly check-ins, and monthly PT-led in-services
- For experienced PTs: room to deepen or build a specialty, with CE support and recognition for advanced training
- Opportunities to develop specialties in pelvic health, pediatrics, TMD, vestibular rehabilitation, advanced manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, adolescent sports, Pilates-based rehabilitation, and injury prevention
- Compensation recognition for advanced training and certifications such as OCS, SCS, and FAAOMPT
- Flexible schedule (A normal weekday outpatient schedule, with a choice of 5×8s or 4×10s; optional evening and weekend hours are available for clinicians who prefer them)
- Full-time, Part-time, and Per Diem options
Job Requirements
- Previous orthopedic and/or sports experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Advanced certification/training preferred (OCS, SCS, CHT, etc.)
- Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
